FPAN Welcomes New Provider Christopher Hwang, MD, PhD

Christopher Hwang, MD, PhD, received combined MD/PhD degrees at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Hwang completed an intern year at ChristianaCare Hospital in Delaware and completed his ophthalmology residency at Scheie Eye Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He then went to National Eye Institute at the National Institutes of Health to complete his fellowship in uveitis and ocular immunology/medical retina. He then completed his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Washington University in St Louis. Dr. Hwang joins the network as part of Retina Consultants of Minnesota.
